Residence Iselba
Built
in 1948 on a project by the architect Isotta this 50 rooms hotel at Marina
di Campo has been tranformed into a "residence", with indepemdent
apartments with two, four or six beds. A very detailed job based on the
interior spaces, because there were severe restriction preventing any
action on the external archiecture: a "V" shaped structure
(the rooms) underlined by a long rectangular part (the service parts)
carefully designed at the time in full respect of the enviroments, to
spread in a fan shape across the pinewood and to give as many rooms as
possible a sea view. ("Abitare", 195, 1981, pp 32-37)
