1-2. The open-space work premises are lit by direct light from custom-designed and manufactured appliances composed of low box-shaped elements with asymmetric optics and fluorescent linear lamps (4000 K°): these appliances, placed above the cabinets, ensure the average illuminance rating in the premises is 120 lux; higher levels are reached at each individual position by using table lamps with controlled lighting beams

The new headquarters of the Banca Popolare di Lodi was built on a huge abandoned industrial area near the railway station, helping injecting fresh life into a notable part of the city´s urban fabric. The architectural complex contrasts the main office block with the cylindrical structures hosting the vaults and auditorium. An inside pedestrian way connects the covered central plaza, the porticoes holding the business spaces, and spacious landscaping. The lighting project is designed over several project levels: ranging from the urban-scale street lighting in Via Anelli and the outside car arks and pedestrian ways, to the work environment (open spaces and executive offices) and auditorium lighting. The choice of lighting sources and appliances was dictated by problems related to energy saving and pollution levels.
