Stands Osram
1. Osram stand
The lighting for the stands at all of Osram’s trade fairs drew on the latest generation of halogen lamps available,
that were carefully incorporated in the display system. "The stand was designed with gently flowing, almost
mathematical aluminium structures glittering with bits of glass and decorated with a sky lit up by 60 small but brightly
shining stars. The use of tiny 12V 100W halogen lamps, with no shields or lighting appliances, is the most distinctive
feature of the entire lighting system and the optical position of the stand itself. Designed by the architects L. and P.
Castiglioni, it was supposed to be a "light centre" focusing closely on the theme in question and fully
visible from all sides, without any obstacles or useless structures to impede it (Notiziario Osram, 1-2, 1975)
