This refurbished shop is situated in an old building in the historical city centre: confined spaces, a height limit, decorative ceilings, legal constraints. The decision to conceal the lighting appliances inside the furnishing features, encased in the top of the stands, means the premises can be lit up with indirect light reflected off the ceilings, allowing good luminescence ratings and no shadows or glints. The second-floor rooms have frescoed ceilings and decorative walls: the "Scintilla" system featuring regular voltage halogen lights stretched across cables means the spaces and collections can be lit up with direct light.
